Our GetAways programme hosts a number of days out, short breaks and holidays often using commercial travel providers, but sometimes hosted entirely by ourselves.

Activities included in our programmes this year include: 

Saturday 29th June - Daytrip by coach to Windsor Castle with Easton's Coaches*

Saturday 20th July - Daytrip by coach to the Summer Cromer End of the Pier Show*

Sunday 11th August - Daytrip by coach to the set of ITV's Coronation Street*

Sat 17th - Sun 18th August - Two day camping trip in North Norfolk

Saturday 31st August - BUILD on the Broads (sailing and Canoeing) with the Nancy Oldfield Trust*

Saturday 21st September - Local bus trip to the Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centre and Beach

Saturday 30th November- Daytrip by coach for Christmas  on the Canal with Easton's Coaches* 

*All trips are subject to spaces being available with commercial providers at the time of booking and are unsuitable for people with motorised wheelchairs.

All have limited places and will be subject to availability of appropriate supporting staff or volunteers.

Generally these trips involve small groups of people with disabilities and are supported by staff and/or volunteers.

The BUILD Travel Service provides one to one support for individuals who want to make their own arrangements for a day out, or holiday. Here we support them to make informed choices about what they want to do, where they want to go and help them with research, budgeting and booking to act on those choices. In these cases we do not attend their activity.
