Our plans to re-launch Fuse LIVE on Tuesday 27th July at The Waterfront in Norwich have been delayed having taken into consideration a number of key factors:

  1. The number of new infections across many parts of Norfolk are rising at an alarming rate and we do not wish to increase the risk to the vulnerable people wanting to attend these events, or the staff and volunteers, and carers who are required to support them.
  2. The understandable requirements of the venue to require evidence of vaccinations, and recent negative Covid tests as a condition of entry which we know will be difficult for some of our guests to understand and provide at this time.

James Kearns, Chief Executive of the BUILD Charity, and co-host of the events said

"I am very sorry about this decision as I know how excited we all were to be going back to the Waterfront, and we have not taken this decision lightly, or alone. We have talked to the venue, talked to people who want to go, and to carers, as well as taken professional advice and guidance and believe that at a time when infections are rising, even amongst those who have been vaccinated, it would be unwise to increase risks when we have all been so careful so far."

Instead, we will be again hosting a FREE on-line Fuse Party with DJ Barry Dunning on Thursday 29th July between 6.30pm and 8pm which can be accessed via a link on our Facebook page from 6pm on Thursday 29th.

Subsequent events are planned for the following dates, subject to a review closer to the time:

Thursday 26th August

Friday 24th September

Friday 29th October (Halloween Special)

Tuesday 30th November

Thursday 16th December (Christmas Special)
